Image tools
What an image node is, how to get one on the board, and what each tool on the image menu does.
An image node is any still on your board. It can be a product photo you uploaded, a shot you generated, a frame you pulled from a video or a sketch. This page lists every way to get an image and every tool on its menu. Each tool has its own page.
Ways to get an image on the board

| A photo you have | Choose Upload in the + menu, or copy an image and paste it on the board. See Upload and download. |
| A brief to Light | Ask Light for stills in plain words, and it sets up the shots. See Ask Light. |
| A video | Choose Extract frame on the video menu to pull out the current frame. See Extract frames and audio. |
| A drawing | Choose Sketch in the + menu to open a blank page. The drawing saves as an image. See Notes, sketches, and audio. |
The image menu
Hover an image and a menu opens on its right edge. The strip along the top of the card has download, fullscreen and delete, and the heart saves the image to your library.
Edit & Merge, Sketch on image, Adjust Color & Light, Upscale and Remove Background are in the Image submenu. The other items are at the top level of the menu.

Every tool that changes the image makes a new node next to it and draws a line between the two. The original stays as it was.

What it costs
Generating an image, Edit & Merge, Upscale and Remove Background spend credits. The run button shows the cost before you start. Sketching, grading and archiving are free. See Credits.
