Edit image

Edit a still with a prompt and references, rerun the shot that made it, or sketch on it to show the model what you mean.

You can edit an image without starting over. Each edit makes a new node next to the original and connects the two, so you can compare them.

Edit & Merge

Edit & Merge is under Image on the image menu. It opens a new shot connected to this image. Write what should change, like "put the sneaker on a wet concrete floor at night", pick an edit model and press the run button.

You can add more images as references. To put your silver ring on a model's hand, start Edit & Merge from the ring and add the hand photo. The first reference is the image being changed, and in a prompt @Image1 is the first reference, @Image2 the next. Each model has its own limit on how many references it takes.

Nano Banana 2.1, GPT Image 2.5 and Krea 3 handle edits with several references well. See Models.

Edit and rerun

Edit and rerun appears when the image came from a generation. It opens that run with its prompt, model and settings, so you can adjust one thing and try again. The first result stays on the board.

Sketch on image

Sketch on image opens a drawing editor over the image. Circle the part to change, draw where a product should sit or mark out a new layout. When you attach the sketch, it saves as a new image that you can use as a reference in Edit & Merge. See Notes, sketches, and audio.

What it costs

Edit & Merge and a rerun are generations, so they spend credits, and the run button shows the price first. Sketching is free. See Credits.
