Adjust color and light
Crop and grade an image on the canvas with exposure, color, split tone, sharpen and vignette. It spends no credits.
Adjust Color & Light on an image opens a grader, so you can crop and grade a still the way you would in a photo app. No AI model runs. When you apply, Chromatic saves the result as a new image next to the original and connects the two with a line.

Color and light spends no credits.
Crop
Drag the crop box, or set a ratio of free, 1:1, 16:9 or 9:16. A preset ratio crops to the largest centered box at that ratio.
A split view shows the original on one side and the grade on the other, so you see the change before you apply it.
The grade
Use the grade to warm a sneaker product shot or lift the shadows on an embroidery close-up from your kurta catalogue.
| Control | What it moves |
|---|---|
| Exposure | Overall brightness. |
| Contrast | The distance between light and dark. |
| Highlights | The bright end, without lifting the whole frame. |
| Shadows | The dark end. |
| Vibrance | Dull color first, before already saturated color. |
| Saturation | Color across the whole frame. |
| Temperature | Warm against cool. |
| Tint | Green against magenta. |
| Sharpen | Edge contrast. |
| Vignette | Darkens or brightens the corners. |
| Fade | A lift that flattens the grade toward gray. |
Split tone colors the shadows, midtones and highlights separately. Each band has a hue and a tint amount. Balance shifts the split toward the shadows or toward the highlights.
Apply writes a new PNG onto the canvas and leaves the source image as it was. If one pass is not enough, grade the result again.
