Video tools

What a video node is, how to get one on the board, every kind of video job, and what each tool on the video menu does.

A video node is any clip on your board, whether you uploaded it or generated it. This page lists every way to get a video and every tool on its menu. Each tool has its own page.

Ways to get a video on the board

  • Generate Video in the + menu starts a clip from a prompt. See Generate video.
  • Video on an image menu starts a clip with that still as the first frame.
  • Choose Upload in the + menu, or paste a clip on the board, to bring in footage you already have. See Upload and download.
  • Ask Light for a video in plain words, and it sets up the shots. See Ask Light.

Every kind of video job

Pick the row that matches what you already have. A sneaker product shot, for example, becomes the first frame through Video on the image.

What it costs

Video models need a paid plan. Generating a clip, Edit Video and Motion Control spend credits. The length, resolution and model change the price, and the run button shows it before you start. Analyze spends no canvas credits. See Credits.
