Manage your skills
See every skill you can call, add skills from Discover, choose which ones Light picks on its own, and remove or delete skills.
You manage your skills from the Light panel. Press the book icon at the top of the panel, labeled Manage your skills. Press it again to go back to the chat.
The panel has two tabs.
My skills
This tab lists every skill you can call. You'll see built-in skills, skills you made marked Yours, and skills you added from Discover. Click a row to read its description and see its /name.
The switch on each row decides whether Light may pick that skill on its own. When the switch is on, the row says Automatic and Light can load the skill whenever your request fits, with no /name needed. When the switch is off, Light waits until you type the skill's /name.
A skill you switch off stays on your list. Light stops choosing it for you, and you can still call it by name.
Discover
Discover holds skills other people have published. Press Add to put one in My skills. From then on it works like any other skill.
Remove or delete
Skills you added from Discover have Remove. It takes the skill off your list, and you can add it again from Discover.
Skills you made have a bin icon. It deletes the skill and its files for good.
Both ask you to confirm first.
Choose who picks skills
Advanced at the top of the panel sets who picks skills for every message.
| Setting | What happens |
|---|---|
| Assistant picks for me | The default. Light can choose from the skills you leave switched on. |
| I'll pick myself | Light adds no skills on its own. Type /name when you want one. The switches hide. |
Pick yourself if you want full control, or if you have many skills and want to keep Light's context lean. When your list gets long, the panel warns you that Light sees only a short version of each description.
