How we turn 50 scripts into 50 finished ads in one day

See how Chromatic turned one script for a construction site payments app into a finished ad with two skills, and why that lets a team make 50 ads a day.

If your brand runs on Meta ads, you already know the first script is almost never the winner. It's an iterative process where you find the winner by testing, which means many scripts, many hooks and many versions of the same narrative running at the same time.

Doing that with a real shoot means casting, locations, a crew and a lot of managing for every new version. Doing it with AI is faster, but only a little. You still write prompts for the characters, then the environment, then the video, often across three or four different platforms, and then you do it all again for the next script.

That repetition is painful and often becomes the bottleneck. It is also the part our team at Chromatic has solved.

We work with app agencies (yes, that's a real thing). These are companies that build tens of apps and run ads for all of them on Meta.

Case study: an app for construction site payments and attendance

This app tracks attendance and sends payment alerts to site labourers.

The script: kids running a construction site

We took inspiration from the Flipkart ads where small kids behave like adults. They stop people mid-scroll because it's something nobody expects to see.

So our construction site is run by toddlers. There's a contractor at his register desk, a labourer asking for his payment, and a munshi holding a phone that is far too big for him.

Skill 1: The studio and the casting

In a real shoot, before anything is filmed, someone books the studio and someone does the casting.

The first skill does exactly that. It reads the script, understands what the story needs, and creates the environment and the characters.

For this ad, it built the construction site at dusk.

It also cast the three toddlers, each one looking like their role before they say a word.

Skill 2: The full video in one go

The second skill takes the script, the environment and the characters, and makes the complete video in one go. The Hindi dialogue, the voices, the music and the sound of the site are all already in place.

We don't stitch shots together afterwards or add audio as a separate step. What comes out is the ad.

So how 50 a day?

Because every step that used to be manual is now a skill. The script, the studio, the casting and the video all run on their own, so making 50 ads is not 50 times the work. The only things left for us are adding the brand end card and doing a final check before they go live.

What this changes

Testing at scale was never a creativity problem. Every brand has more ideas than it can shoot. What held them back was the cost and time of producing each one.

Once that goes away, you stop guessing which script will work and start finding out. You can test ten hooks on the same story, or ten stories with the same characters, and let the numbers decide instead of the meeting room.

Both of these skills live on Chromatic. Bring your scripts and see how many you can put live by tomorrow.
