We're a team of AI engineers, building Chromatic with a goal to help founders and marketing teams make videos using AI. We recently worked with a new-age fine jewellery brand called HYOU. During this project, we noticed a few interesting insights and created some outputs.

We're a team of AI engineers, building Chromatic with a goal to help founders and marketing teams make videos using AI. We recently worked with a new-age fine jewellery brand called HYOU. During this project, we noticed a few interesting insights and created some outputs.

HYOU is doing well over million in revenue and was looking to scale. They wanted a way to consistently keep posing on socials, Make content to run facebook ads, and even try to make a virtual avatar of their founder!


The challenge is doing all these seemingly cool things are costly. We researched over countless resources, and took quotes from agencies and number are high.


  • Studio Shoots: A professional shoot can easily run $3,000 - $5,000.

  • UGC Creators: Costs of $200 – $500 for a single video (and ah, editing costs)

And it's tough to scale - the solutions are either to burn more money or set up your own in-house production studio. We helped jewellery brands discover the use cases of AI, and using Chromatic they are able to make the follwing type of content.

Jewellery brands have awesome cinematic shoots of their collections, best sellers but the engagement rates are low. (it's tough to keep most of the users hooked with 15 different angles of your jewellery)


BUT - the moment you add an influencer talking about their outfits of the days, or stories about how they got that diamond ring - people listen.


Chromatic helps to make such influencers and they talk about these stories. These kind of videos had 6x to 8x more views.

Checkout the the video below. The model, dress, and even the place in the background are created using AI. This was created as a concept video using jewelleries from an Indian brand - Tarinika.


The cost of booking a place for a day or two, getting influencers, props, camera crew is SOOO high when it gets compared with the cost of output we have created here.

The BIG BIG issue


With the launch of Nano Banana 2, and even models like seeddream from Bytedance. The internet exploded and our IGs too but these model struggle with one crucial aspect - size.


We have seen almost all of the tools (including ours) to not to be 100% perfect with the size.

What hurts is most of the tools out there blindly intergrate these models (nano banana) and sell the promise of replacing your whole content team.


We, at Chromatic, want to build with transparency - we use a mix of our own ML models fine tuned on top of open source models and proud to say that we beat every other tools tested out there when it comes to accuracy and quality of image generation.

The Bottom Line


The goal for me to write this on a fine sunday evening was to share about the progress, and kinds of outputs brands are achievening using AI.
